If you are looking for construction/installations work that is a little out of the ordinary that you can really make your own, this is one for you.
Our client, a national sign installation company, is looking for the best installers in Brisbane to join their growing state team. Based out of Acacia Ridge, you could be working anywhere along the Gold Coast, Brisbane or Sunny Coast, so if you love a road trip, read on.
Sign Installation takes organization, pre-planning and the ability to think on your feet, along with pride in your work, and that special something that means you'll put in a bit of additional effort to get something done on time and on budget.
While Sign Installation experience would be great, commercial construction, electrical fitter or shopfitting skills will also put you in the running. You’ll need to be comfortable on the tools, able to read and interpret engineering or construction drawings, and while you should be great at following instructions, if a problem comes up on site, you’re smart enough to work through it and come up with a solution.
You’ll be working on a team of 2 inside a larger statewide team, with branches in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
White card, EWP, Working at Heights and High Risk licenses and tickets would come in useful.
There is scope to move into Team Leader roles, and even project management if that’s the direction you want to take.
You get:

- $35 to $50 per hour plus super depending on installations experience - best rates in the industry
- Flexibility
- 4 weeks of flex leave (added to your 4 weeks annual leave)
- Regular overtime
- Travel and night work allowances
- Support from the national team and local managers
- If you make team leader, a fully maintained company vehicle and fuel
