**Lighting Illusions Electrical** is a division of a highly successful, progressive and privately owned multi-outlet lighting retailer with six stores around SEQ. The Lighting Illusions Electrical team specialises in ceiling fans, lighting and other small domestic product installation in domestic settings as well as supporting our growing retail network with any in-store electrical work. We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our team in a leadership and coordination position, starting immediately. This newly formed role would be perfect for a customer-centric and experienced electrician who wants to get off the tools and enjoy more of a steady desk-based role. As our electrical divisions' team lead you, you will be the team’s go-to problem-solver and ideally have experience across a range of scopes including: - Electrical job quoting (both on-site and over the phone) - Scheduling tasks and maximising the efficiency of the department - Budgeting and resource allocation and management - Seeking and exploring for new business opportunities - Managing people/teams, including remotely - Solar installs - Testing & tagging - Servicing and fault finding - Basic data installations - Light commercial electrical installs/maintenance - Smoke alarms and fire protection systems - Good knowledge of domestic and multi-residential installations (focusing on replacing existing lighting and ceiling fans) - Experience in ServiceM8, Tradify, Simpro or other similar job software would be advantageous **About you**: You must be a strong communicator with good computer literacy skills but, most importantly, you need to possess a passion for delivering the highest standards of service. Though you will be required to help out your team with their jobs at times, the primary role will involve effectively leading the electrical business unit. - Very well organised with a "can-do" attitude - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently - Punctual and well presented - Great at problem-solving with an excellent eye for detail - Good business sense and strong problem-solving skills - Confident and professional communication skills both written and verbal - Energetic and professional customer service approach with excellent phone manners - Good with computers/tech savvy **Qualification requirements**: - Current Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence - Current CPR/LVR - Blue/white construction card - Current open driver's licence (Class C) **What we Offer**: - Stable full-time position - Excellent working conditions and a friendly team environment within a growing company - Attractive salary and bonus scheme.
