**The Role - Delivering the Vision**

This hybrid role (WFH / Office) can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

As Procurement Operations, Risk & Governance Manager you will work across core business areas, working collaboratively and engagingly with senior stakeholders. This role will be a key point of contact within the procurement team for risk and governance, blended with a commercial mindset and advice on contracts.

The role will require you to identify, mitigate and escalate commercial risks as well as ensuring governance and compliance aligns to the broader risk framework. You will ensure that third-party contract negotiations are fully supported and contracts assessed. You will work with Risk, Legal, Finance and IT Security Teams to provide a procurement perspective on Risk.

The role will also manage the escalation of queries from the Procurement Contracts Team and administer standard operating procedures. Working with a Procurement Data Analyst you will also provide meaningful reporting and insights. In addition, you will have responsibility for review of Governance to ensure approvals and updates are enacted regarding Risk and Operations.

In short, this role will require you to support and drive processes and work with cross-functional stakeholders and strategic supply partnerships. This is a broad and varied remit that will allow you the opportunity to showcase excellence driving Procurement Operations, Risk and Governance initiatives.

You will have an exceptional eye for detail and an ability to identify risk and opportunities within a procurement contract. Your communication skills and capacity to influence and build relationships with stakeholders will be first-class. You will comfortably showcase your critical thinking and engage in a crisp, informed, approachable and astute manner. In short, you will be an ambassador for the Procurement Team with a genuine passion for business partnering and delivering excellence.
