A role with real **purpose **where you can create **meaningful relationships **and give back to the **community **whilst performing in a role your talent in.
As a **Maintenance Team Leader**, you will be responsible for ensuring the general maintenance and upkeep of both the Aged Care facility and Retirement Community.
What does your new role look like?
- Maintenance and repairs: this may include painting, lighting maintenance, gutters, air conditioning, tiling, basic plumbing, and other general repairs
- Overseeing and managing the Maintenance Work Schedule and staff delivering this program, including coaching and development team members
- Planned and reactive maintenance: Completing all planned works as agreed whilst also repairing any immediate requirements that arise
- Work alongside Australia Unity’s preferred suppliers and contractors where relevant and ensuring all work carried out is within the planned budget and compliance requirements
- Ensuring workplace health and safety regulations are adhered to, that areas are kept tidy, and you are an advocate for keeping team members and customers to be always safe
**About You**:
- Relevant trade qualification or certificate (advantageous but not mandatory)
- Experience leading a Maintenance Works program and the associated staff and services **or**:
- An experienced Maintenance / Handyperson looking to take the next step in their career
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to build rapport as you will be working with and in direct contact with our residences
- Drivers licence and own reliable transport
- Fully vaccinated for Covid-19, including booster and Influenza
- NDIS Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
