**About the Opportunities**:
Applications are invited for a **Full-Time Day Shift Laboratory Assistant** within the Microbiology Department at the **Bowen Hills** laboratory of Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology.

Prior knowledge/experience in a microbiology laboratory or in microbiology laboratory techniques will be advantageous. Current shift times are between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm. The successful applicant will be required to participate in a rostered weekend and public holiday roster once appropriately trained.

The successful applicant will also ideally have:

- Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work methodically and efficiently whilst adhering to occupational health and safety policies
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Provide excellent customer service
