**About the Opportunity**
- Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology_ now has multiple exciting opportunities for full-time and part-time **Laboratory Assistants **to join either the Histopathology Specimen Reception Area or the main laboratory of the Histopathology Department at Bowen Hills, for morning, day and evening shifts.

**SRA duties may include**:

- Specimen reception
- Data input into Histology accessioning system
- General assistance to dissection staff

Excellent computer skills are required.

**Main laboratory duties may include**:

- Embedding
- Microtomy
- Loading tissue onto tissue processors
- General laboratory duties including assistance to allocation bench and changing stainers.

The successful applicants must possess an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their work, together with the ability to work as part of a team. Prior experience in specimen reception duties or Histopathology will be highly regarded.
