Keysborough Secondary College is a multi-campus school with one campus in Keysborough (Acacia Campus) and one in Springvale South (Banksia Campus). Both campuses offer programs for students in years 7-12 with an organisational structure arranged around Junior and Senior sub-schools.
Student achievement and engagement is generally above Like School groups and retention is high. Our student population is culturally and linguistically diverse and characterised by families of high SFOE as a result of which the college attracts significant Equity Funding. Keysborough Secondary College has undergone an extensive renewal program with the construction of two Junior Village neighbourhoods, a Senior Village neighbourhood, and a purpose-built STEM Centre on each Campus. Construction or refurbishment of a Food Technology, The Arts and Technology Centre on each campus has also been completed. The final stage has been completed for the new Administration Centre on the Banksia Campus and the refurbishment of the Music area at the Acacia Campus.

**SC1**Demonstrated capacity to deliver voice instruction in the Instrumental Music Program to individuals and/or small groups of Instrumental Music students.
**SC2** Ability to work as part of the Music Team and contribute significantly to the achievements of the team.
**SC3** Demonstrated experience in forming and working with choirs.
**SC4** Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills when relating to students, parents, teachers and staff.
**SC5** Previous experience supporting and promoting Instrumental Music programs in schools and/or the wider community.
**SC6** Ability to actively promote the safety and wellbeing of all children in line with the Child Safe Standards.
**Role**:
**The position of Instrumental Music: Voice is part time (0.2), 7.6 hours per week for one day from 8am - 4:06pm. Negotiable day and start/finish times may be considered for the right applicant.**
**The successful applicant must hold, or be able to obtain, a current Employee Working With Children Check.**
**This position is fixed term with a tenure commencing from Monday 24/2/2025 to Monday 19/1/2026. A delay in commencement date may result in a shortened tenure with an earlier end date.**
**The position remuneration is in line with the VGSA2022**Education Support** Class Salaries - Level 1, Range 3 commencing from $72,739* per annum (*fulltime equivalent).**
Range 3 is distinguished by the introduction of management responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional support services. The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field. It seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration, operations or educational programs.
Direction on targets and goals is provided but the position will have some degree of latitude in determining how they are achieved. This latitude will generally be limited by standard procedures and school policy. Deviation from standard procedures and school policy will require guidance and direction from senior management.
The provision of business management responsibilities becomes a feature at range 3. Management of staff to achieve the expected outcomes is a key responsibility. Staff management issues will be resolved with mínimal reference to senior management, although guidance will be required in more complex cases. Senior management will be provided with timely reports and advice, although this will generally be confined to matters relating to the immediate work area, service provision or educational program and is unlikely to impact substantially on whole of school operations.
