**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
Bringing your experience from a senior advisory or a business partnering position, you will support the contract leadership team to promote effective and considered people practices across the contract. As part of the contract leadership team, you will have the opportunity to shape the role to best meet the needs of the contract and foster a collaborative and respectful working environment. Importantly, you will be adept in the delicate balance of delivering on contract requirements and centralised People initiatives.
This position will see you working closely with the contract leadership team, broader P&C function, and our client. Your day to day will include a variety of P&C matters both for the contract and in supporting Ventia Group initiatives and you will be confident in constructively and respectfully challenging requirements. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with contract leadership team to identify and deliver P&C initiatives that support the business strategy and contract operational objectives.
- Working collaboratively with the contract leadership team in the embedding of operational norms and expectations.
- Providing professional advice and guidance on the operationalisation of P&C policies and procedures, employment legislation, and retention strategies.
- Provide management information to facilitate effective, consistent, empowering leadership - expecting and enabling leaders to assume increasing responsibility for all aspects of people leadership.
- Support local management in the management and resolution of employee relations issues. Ensuring effective and fit-for-purpose investigations are undertaken.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- You will have experience in a senior advisory or business partnering role within the P&C community.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced contract delivery environment, leveraging the expertise of the broader P&C Network.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge people, situations and current thinking effectively and creatively with the objective of delivering effective P&C practices that support business deliverables.
