Product Manager Term Deposits

**The opportunity**

Everyday Banking Tribe is responsible for development, distribution, and servicing of deposit products, including payments. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the achievement of Everyday Banking Product team growth ambitions and desired customer outcomes. You will be responsible for product development, management and optimisation of Term Deposits, including product growth and retention, competitor analysis and the customer experience to build customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

**How you will make an impact**
- Monitor Term Deposits competitive movements and swap curves to recommend timely pricing recommendations in line with volume and NIM targets
- Be a custodian of Product Reference documents in relation to Term Deposit Products, Notice Products and other products as required
- Review complaints and NPS data in relation to Term Deposit onboarding and fulfilment
- Assist with updates to disclosure documents, collateral and procedural documents for Term Deposit Products
- Ownership of incident and issue remediation
- Ownership of monitoring DDO (Design and distribution obligations) threshold reporting
- Support Everyday Banking Operations Team for any escalations that require investigation
- Drive key business and project initiatives as required such as changes to Term Deposit account establishment processes and product offerings
- Liaise with Finance team on various reports and processes as required.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Tertiary qualification within a relevant business discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in financial services with a proven track record in product management; deep experience with deposit products is desirable
- Good understanding of compliance obligations in relation to deposits
- Good understanding of liquidity and market risk
- Proven experience in change management and stakeholder engagement
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to express ideas and concepts clearly
- Attention to detail
- Collaboration skills
