About the Role
Working under the supervision of the Senior Communications Manager, Group Communications, the role provides strategic and tactical support to the creation and delivery of integrated communications strategies and programs (incl. internal, external and digital) in line with ANZ’s strategic agenda and business-as-usual activity across Talent & Culture, Risk, Legal, Internal Audit and Enterprise Finance functions as well as supporting communication of ANZ’s First Nations strategy.

What will your day look like?
**As a Communications Coordinator, you will**:
Deliver and support communications programs for Group Communications (T&C, Finance, Risk, Legal and Internal Audit), to enhance and protect the reputation of the function/bank.
Support the implementation of best practice integrated communication programs (includes internal communication and content) to deliver the strategic agenda for ANZ’s enablement functions, drive employee engagement, and help us better engage with key stakeholders.
Work with the team to develop ANZ’s Weekly Wrap ensuring a consistent approach to enterprise-wide, divisional/functional communication.
Deliver and support business-as-usual and project related integrated communication strategies.
Develop digital content for and provide management of the 833 Collins St digital wall content.
Work collaboratively with teams across Corporate Communications (including media relations, content, divisional comms and CEO comms teams)
Role model ANZ’s values and contribute to a positive culture (including Risk Culture) within Corporate Communications.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
At least Bachelor level qualifications in Journalism, Professional Communication, Public Relations or relevant Arts discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Communication planning skills
Writing content for a range of channels
Editing written documents
Video production skills, including narrative creation, story-boarding, filming and editing.
Web-content creation, including creating social-media posts, creating social media campaigns, and web-page creation.
Webcast production, employee communications management platforms (e.g Staffbase), collaboration apps (e.g Teams) and social networking tools (e.g Viva Engage).
Synthesis, extracting valuable insights and opportunities from data and information collected.
Project management - development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and using the necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of cost, time and quality.
Business acumen to quickly understand an issue and respond to situations in a manner that is likely to lead to good outcomes.
