It’s an exciting time for tennis in Australia and we have ambitious plans to continue to grow the game from grassroots through to high performance. We are transforming how we deliver tennis, with the aim of making it more accessible, to more people, more often. To help us achieve our plan we are looking for a Communications Coordinator to join our team at Tennis Victoria (TV) on a full time, ongoing basis.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Content, this role you will:

- Coordinate and produce all Tennis Victoria e-communications
- Assist with the promotion and profile of Tennis Victoria as an organisation; and more broadly, tennis across the Victorian community
- Manage Tennis Victoria communication tools and business protocols to support effective communication internally and externally
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to initiate planning, production, and delivery of relevant communications to stakeholders
- Implement the digital communications content strategy comprising of digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate audiences
- Engage with print, television and radio media outlets to profile Victorian tennis and opportunities to play.
- Proactively seek out newsworthy opportunities (both internal and external) to design engaging content, promoting the TV brand
- Create engaging and informative content to publish on the Tennis Victoria website

About you

What you will bring to the role:

- Demonstrated experience using systems including Canva, Wordpress CMS, Microsoft Dynamics or similar EDM systems
- Demonstrated strong organisational abilities and prioritisation
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- A strong understanding of community sport and recreation
- Alignment with the Tennis values of Excellence, Humility, Collaboration and Imagination
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
