**Job Title: Café Manager**

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing the day to day operations of the café when the manager isn’t there
- Ensuring relevant ordering is done, with excess stock not purchased
- Training of employees when required
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Direction from the manager is followed through efficiently and effectively
- Meeting all KPI’s that have been set out

**Responsibilities**:

- Attend all staff meetings
- Cash handling and till finalisation
- Ensuring that cleaning checklists are completed and monthly checks are done
- Offering a high standard of customer service to match our reputation
- Increasing sales at all opportunities through value adds and giving information about

products
- Creating a harmonious environment amongst all staff within the café
- Ensuring coffee standards are upheld and baristas are trained correctly
- Safety and cleanliness of the service and surrounding areas
- Dining room service according to the Rough & Bare’s quality and service standards
- Increasing sales at all opportunities through the performance of the wait staff
- Working with the café manager to ensure operations of the café are smooth and

efficient
- Ensuring that all customer questions can be answered by yourself and staff - this

means always learning and keeping up to date on products and information
- Handling customer complaints in accordance with Rough & Bare’s ethics and

standards, and ensuring staff are aware of these standards
- Communication to staff and senior management needs to be of a high standard
- Correct forms to be filled out in the event of an injury or maintenance
- Food handling standards are to be upheld at all times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Barista: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Food handling: 2 years (preferred)
