**Job location**

Our Corporate Office is located at Thomas Embling Hospital just 15 minutes north of the city. ?Due to our announced expansion across all Directorates, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team to support our growing services. Our Directorates includes Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Operations and our Community Directorate with highly skilled disciplines including Nursing, Lived Experience, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychologists and Social Work. We have an outstanding L&D and discipline Educator co-hort that continually upskill our already skilled and supportive team.

**About the Role**:
Serving and assisting consumers on a daily basis within a secure forensic psychiatric hospital setting;-
Maintain and manage Patient Trust accounts and property with a complete level of accuracy;-
Liaising with Clinical and Allied Health staff to support consumers in their financial management matters;- Supporting other transactional finance roles and the Financial Controller on an as needs basis.

**Duties**:

- _ Daily accounting of all payments and receipts into the patient trust accounts, including facilitating EFT payments on behalf of consumers;_
- _ Manage consumer enquiries regarding trust and telephone accounts_
- _ Demonstrate a high level of customer service and empathy towards consumers;_
- _ Ensure Cash floats are balanced and correct at the end of each day and request top up values from cash provider;_
- _ Facilitate trust account movements in the event of transfers and discharges of consumers_
- Comply with State Revenue Office unclaimed monies procedure
- Liaise with clinical and Allied Health staff on consumer related matters and provide assistance where appropriate

**About You**:

- Demonstrated skills and experience in a finance/accounts administration role.
- Provide a high level of customer service to all consumers in a non-judgemental manner.
- Adaptable and flexible person that is willing to undertake a number of different tasks and roles.
- Ability to work as a member of a team along with liaise and work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work cooperatively and provide support to other transactional accounting roles when required.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Business Central and Excel would be highly desirable.
