Our client is a leading iconic global furniture company that specialises in luxury home decor. They are well regarded due to their quality products and aspirational designs and are on a growth journey expanding into new markets.

This role will suit an experienced People Business Partner who can partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR support and guidance across both their local and international markets.

Reporting to the Global Head of People & Culture, this role will focus on the retail side of the business and will cover day to day people and wellbeing issues including the full employment lifecycle and projects. You will provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related topics including talent management, employee relations, performance management and business improvement projects.

Their Head Office is based in South Sydney, and you will have the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week. As you will be supporting an international business, you will need to be available for some evening calls. With a company culture of high trust and entrepreneurialism, this is a unique opportunity.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Solid retail HR experience and a relevant tertiary qualification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hands on environment
- Strong foundation and knowledge of HR principals and practice including employment law and compliance
- Experience with performance management and investigations
- Solid computer skills across MS office, and a working knowledge of HRIS and LMS systems
- Outstanding relationship management skills and be a team player
