You’ll be supporting your business units revolutionise the way we work, by building and executing people strategies in tandem with our centres of excellence.

This is a hands on role within our People Business Partnering and Advisory team who support functional business units across Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland and Canada.

You will work with exceptional Executives and Leaders across our business on both BAU people related activities and cyclical processes, as well as be involved in projects which aim to move the dial on various people related initiatives.

**What does an average day look like?**

No day is average at **humm**group,** **but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role and what you will be responsible for:

- Work with Executive stakeholders and their leadership teams to build and execute people strategies and plans both directly for the Business Units you are partnered with and through engaging the specialist areas within PC&A
- Coach leaders on how to design, build and develop high performing teams, including effective goal-setting, Talent and performance management, people and career development, and total rewards
- Work closely with your key partnered business units to shape team org design, headcount planning and optimal hiring decisions
- Be a trusted advisor and consultant for your key stakeholders
- Provide employment relations advisory for your partnered business units
- Support efforts in embedding People related tools and frameworks including knowledge sharing across the team of new approaches
- Manage ER/IR risk, through advising senior leaders and managing/overseeing complex cases on behalf of the business
- Support the effective implementation of the people strategy with the broader people team to attract, retain, develop and scale our global talent
- Ensure that all regulatory requirements and compliance is maintained and traceable
- Co-create and roll out people programs designed in partnership with employees and leaders

You will bring:

- Extensive business partnering experience in a multi-entity, multi-geographical, complex, and fast paced environment
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation across NZ & AU (required) and UK (highly desirable)
- Strong relationship building skills and experience of working with senior people leaders across multiple locations
- Ability to lead and influence effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience working in a tech company and ideally have experience partnering with tech teams
- Understand of Agile ways of working and experience partnering with in Agile Project teams
- Track record in successfully delivering key large-scale People initiatives
- Experience successfully leading and juggling projects to meet core objectives
- Sound knowledge of the end-to-end employee lifecycle
- Agility to spot opportunities and threats, and act to implement change quickly
- Experience facilitating work across globally diverse, virtual, cross-organisational teams
- Comfort working as part of a fast-paced team where we constantly challenge the status quo and starting from where we want to be.
