Join the team at John Fawkner Private Hospital as a Theatre Technician We're looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our Perioperative Services team on a full-time basis. As a member of our team you will play an important role, in providing high quality service to theatres and other clinical areas. **As a Theatre Technician your responsibilities will include**:

- Assist nursing staff in the delivery of safe and compassionate care
- Transport to and from the ward
- Assist with the safe positioning and immediate preoperative preparation of the patient
- Assist with positioning and connection of equipment in the theatre as required
- Maintenance of a sterile environment
- Sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices
- Adhere to Healthscope and site policies and procedures
- Contribute to the efficient, effective, and economic running of the Perioperative Services team

**Essential Criteria**:

- Authority to Work in Australia
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Theatre Technician
- Working with Children check
- Commitment to service excellence
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Work well independently and within a team
- Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support)
