**As Theatre Technician your responsibilities will include**:
Do you want to become part of our Perioperative Service Department team? As a theatre technician you will play an important role, in providing high quality service to theatres and other clinical areas to ensure great care for our patients.
- Transporting patient to and from peri-operative suite and assisting within the operating theatre as delegated by the nursing team.
- Aid with patient manual handling and courier items as delegated by nursing team.
- Cleaning the operating theatre between cases as per facility protocol, remove waste from peri operative suite and assemble required equipment pertaining to the day’s needs.
**Key Capabilities**
We have several positions available and are looking for those with:
- a minimum of 1 year experience in the perioperative setting as a Theatre Technician with a Certificate III/IV in Health Services Assistant (Operating Theatre Technician).
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Sound communication skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
