**Responsibilities**:
**The Role**

On behalf of our client, we require an experienced Seeking a SMP QA/QC Coordinator to join the team on a 2:1 FIFO roster to a remote location in the Northern Territory. This is a 12-month contract role.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Develop and implement construction and source inspection planning, monitor and report on inspection progress.
- Ensure required quality documentation including but not limited to verification plans, Inspection and test plans, field inspection checklists, quality standards are implemented to ensure compliance with established codes
- Carry out audits of sub-contractors’ quality documentation (periodically) to ensure this is being kept up to date and signed off
- Support with any technical queries and issue any Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any non-compliant work to sub-contractors.
- Carry out weld inspections to ensure compliance with applicable welding codes

Qualifications:
**Skills & Experience**

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

- Strong experience in a similar role, preferably in a EPCM/ mining industry working on major projects.
- Strong understanding of material traceability and welding procedures, and Quality Management Plans
- Good welding knowledge and versatile experience from previous roles in SMP, civil works and site construction an advantage.
- A strong work ethic to work in a remote location and the hours required for a demanding project
