**About the job:
**As a QAQC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) Coordinator for an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) / EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management) project, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the project meets the required quality standards and specifications. This includes effective service and product verification and inspection programs for the services and products procured by the Project consistent with criticality assessments and contractual and regulatory obligations.

Your role involves supporting the Project Quality Manager in implementing and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system throughout the project lifecycle.

We currently have 2 positions available:

- Mechanical QA/QC Coordinator with experience in Welding (_Preferable)_
- Electrical & Instrumentation QA/QC Coordinator

**A snapshot of your Responsibilities**:

- Quality Management System Development:

- Quality Planning:

- Collaborate to develop quality plans for each phase of the project. Identify critical quality control points and establish inspection and testing criteria.
- Quality Control:

- Monitor and control the quality of work performed by contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Review and approve quality-related documents, such as procedures, drawings, and material certificates.
- Non-Conformance Management:

- Identify and address non-conformities, deviations, and deficiencies in work processes, materials, or equipment.
- Quality Reporting
- Supplier and Subcontractor Evaluation and Quality Monitoring:

- Documentation and Records Management:

- Establish and maintain a comprehensive documentation system to record quality-related activities, inspections, tests, and certifications. Ensure that all relevant documents are properly controlled, archived, and retrievable.
- Training and Awareness:

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
- Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay updated with relevant codes, standards, and regulations applicable to the project. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements related to quality activities.
- Lessons Learned and Best Practices:

- Capture lessons learned from previous projects and promote the implementation of best practices. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the quality management system based on project-specific experiences.

- We would need to see this qualifications & experience _
- Tertiary or Trade qualifications in Mechanical discipline with experience in Oil and Gas
- Welding Inspection qualification ‘CSWIP 3.1’ or equivalent
- Coating Inspection qualification ‘NACE level 2’ or higher.
- Proven experience as a QAQC Coordinator / Engineer in EPC projects in the Oil & gas industry
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ISO 9001, API, ASME, ASTM, etc.
- Proficiency in conducting inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relevant software tools and systems used for quality management.
