Due to expansion, the team are now looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist to report directly to the Customer Service Manager and be a vital addition to their clients, customers, and project teams.
**About the role**
The Customer Service Specialist role is primarily responsible to provide support in the sales and marketing functions of the company, to ensure that customers' needs are met in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. In this role you will need to be driven, accountable and advocating for our customers are essential. We pride ourselves on the service we offer our clientele and are looking to expand and strengthen our team.
**Your responsibilities include but aren't limited to**:
- Providing phone-based customer support (30-50 calls per day)
- Data entry (order processing, credit & refund requests)
- Raising purchase orders
- Highlight customer concerns, common product issues and other repeated queries to management level, to ensure proactive actions are put in place as possible
- Educate, empower, and inspire customers about our Brands and products
Additionally, we are looking for a person that enjoys working through challenges, someone who takes ownership and advocates for our customers, someone that finds opportunity and alternative solutions to problems, and most importantly someone that embraces the products and brands we represent and translate that excitement to customers in interactions. We truly value proactiveness and grabbing tasks by the scruff of the neck. The position is really whatever you want to make it, and we are excited to see where the successful applicant can take it
**Essential Requirements**:
- Pleasant telephone manner and strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Commitment to quality & accuracy
- Proven experience in a similar role
