Rumin8 is tackling one of the biggest contributors to climate change: methane emissions from livestock. The digestive process of beef and dairy cattle produces a full 3.7% of all greenhouse gas emissions, a huge contribution from a single source. With billions of people around the world relying on animal products as part of their daily diet, eliminating livestock methane production is a powerful lever in the quest toward mitigating climate change.

Rumin8’s technology is demonstrating reduction of emissions from cattle by up to 95%. Our technology replicates the anti-methanogenic compounds that occur naturally in plants and turns them into dietary supplements for livestock. By reducing methane production, we enable the animal to convert otherwise lost energy into increased productivity, a win for farmers and a win for our planet.

The Role

As Rumin8 expands, we seek a dedicated Operations and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. You'll help to develop and orchestrate our logistics and transport function, supporting our technical team in shipping and create a structure that can be leveraged by our production team. Collaborating with our external partners, you'll streamline documentation processes, and play a critical role in our pilot facility expansion, aiding in site selection and planning. Demonstrating relentless curiosity and resourcefulness, you will build our operational knowledge base, fulfilling internal requests for information and following your own judgment with self-guided discovery. Your contribution will form the operational backbone of Rumin8 and will shape our trajectory overall.

**You will**:

- Develop our internal logistics function, supporting the technical team and initial stages of production
- Develop and own our internal operational knowledge base
- Assist with the creation and documentation of all internal safety protocols
- Assist with the creation and documentation of all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Help to develop and manage key supplier relationships
- Interface regularly with a team of third party technical consultants
- Work on special projects within the Operations team's scope of responsibility

**You have**:

- Prior exposure to agriculture, chemicals or pharma operations
- Prior experience in logistics
- 3 years operational experience in a fast-paced environment
- A strong orientation around the role safety plays in a manufacturing environment
