This is a new position which will be supporting the 'People Hub' capability within the Queensland Police Service (QPS) supporting the State Emergency Service (SES) and Marine Rescue Queensland (MRQ). Workplace Culture Coordinators will provide support to the Principal Advisor (Relationship Manager) within the People Hubs and relevant staff to foster and develop professional workplaces and ethical workforce behaviour. The Workplace Culture Coordinator will work closely with key capabilities within the Queensland Police Service to foster positive and inclusive workplaces for SES and MRQ personnel. Workplace Culture Coordinators have a direct reporting line to the Principal Advisor (Relationship Manager) in the People Hub.
**The core capability requirements for this role are**:
- Provide advice and support managers and team leaders in building inclusive workplaces and practices and actioning other culture and engagement strategies and actions. Contribute to the development of organisational frameworks, policies and procedures for a workforce that models professional and ethical behaviour. Partner with key stakeholders to design, develop and deliver resources to support line managers in the effective management of employees and volunteers. Identify and monitor trends and emerging issues pertaining to education and training. Contribute to the development, implementation, coordination and review of training programs required to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees and volunteers. Build effective networks and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders and clients. Undertake research, analysis, design, development and delivery of innovative organisational improvement products, including systems, processes, education, training and consultancy in the area of employee and volunteer engagement.
**Role Requirements**:
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
- Highly desirable human resource management and workplace training adult education.
