To meet our growing demands, we are looking for an **Accounts Payable & Payroll Clerk** for a 12 month fixed term contract to join our team.

**Reporting to the General Accounting Manager**, the purpose of this position is to ensure that vendors and employees are paid accurately and on time, utilising the control framework, systems and controls to meet all AP and Payroll financial and legislative requirements.

**In addition, you will**:

- Enter payroll transactions for the relevant fortnight efficiently and accurately, ensure that the payroll inbox is cleared and discrepancies resolved in a timely manner.
- Complete Payroll and Accounts payable balance sheet reconciliations for review by the General Accounting Manager.
- Prepare accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments, including the prompt resolution of vendor / internal queries.
- Prepare payment runs for both local and foreign vendors, ensuring manual payments are keyed in to the banking package accurately.
- Undertake review and reconciliation of, Corporate credit card and expense claims in Concur (SAP S4), complete vendor reconciliations, Ariba reconciliations and other invoice controls.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.

This is a Brisbane based 12-month fixed term contract position and may require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team. You will be motivated, curious, and have a learning mindset.

This combined with your qualifications and experience will ensure that both payroll and accounts payable functions work effectively. Due to the small AP and payroll team at Arrow, we have a cross skilled team capable of completing both payroll and AP duties.

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- High School or equivalent qualifications
- Accounts payable or payroll experience
- Experience with SAP, Aurion or equivalent ERP and payroll systems highly regarded
- Oil and gas industry experience is desirable
