**The Position**

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a reputable and culture-focused business located in the inner Brisbane CBD.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for working within a busy accounts payable division. You will be an integral member of a high-performing team.

Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

- Processing a high volume of invoices through system (XERO);
- Play a key role in testing of a new ERP system;
- Investigating and reconciling of all outstanding invoices and supplier statements;
- Account maintenance including setting up new suppliers and updating supplier information;
- Processing payments in a timely and accurate manner;
- Processing employee expenses and claims;
- Ad hoc accounts support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the accounts payable function.

**Skills and Experience**:
In addition, you will demonstrate the ability to:

- Strong sense of ownership;
- Demonstrate the ability to build strong professional relationships;
- Effective and adaptive communication skills;
