HR Superintendent

HR Superintendent required for a leading mining organisation based in the Bowen Basin.

**Your new company**
A leading and global mining organisation headquartered in Brisbane is seeking a HR Superintendent to be based at their Bowen Basin site (in a residential capacity) to assist the Manager Human Resources in overseeing all functions of Human Resources.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, you will be accountable for the delivery and execution of HR projects. Partnering with the HR leaders, you will provide coaching and advice for all people related matters to ensure the development of appropriate skills and knowledge, to effectively lead, manage and develop their teams and ultimately achieve business objectives.
- Develop effective professional relationships with leaders by providing accurate and timely advice to influence the delivery of performance-based business outcomes
- Lead, coach and develop the site-based HR and Administration team
- Develop an understanding of current and future workforce requirements by assisting the business areas with planning, modelling and gap analysis to support leaders in the development of business case recommendations and associated recruitment approval processes
- Contribute to the preparation and development of salary recommendations and proposals for new hires and any requests for out of cycle reviews
- Support the recruitment activities for difficult to fill roles and specific sourcing projects
- Contribute to the development of HR metrics to enable effective analysis, planning, budgeting, and reporting processes
- Review HRIS for compliance and support leaders to prevent outstanding journeys or tasks
- Provide strategic communication and change management support to leaders when implementing change or driving HR improvement initiatives and projects
- Support effective governance and compliance by contributing to the development, review, communication and implementation of HR policies and practices
- Support leaders to effectively case manage HR-related issues including performance, grievance, workplace investigations and absence management in line with relevant policies and legislation
- Coach and support leaders to identify skills gaps or talent and establish development plans and retention strategies for their teams.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need experience/knowledge/understanding across as much of the following:

- Bachelor of Business (HRM) or Tertiary Qualifications in Psychology, Employment relations would be desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources role at a senior Advisory Level
- Previous experience leading teams
- Essential Skills - MS Office Suite & HRIS
- Clear communication skills (written and oral)
- Full Australian working rights
