Workplace (Facilities) Officer

**About the role | 12 month fixed term contract**
We are seeking a talented & solutions-orientated Workplace (Facilities) Officer who will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of our reactive maintenance requests and helpdesk support activities for all Greater Bank premises. Working closely within the team, this position will demonstrate success by ensuring our customer requests are responded to effectively and that compliance is achieved across Greater Bank’s sites. This role will also follow the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and effective contractor and supplier management system to deliver quality outcomes.

Additionally you will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in facilities, workplace or property management.
- Demonstrated experience delivering on maintenance activities related to workplace and/or retail.
- Understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards.
- Stakeholder engagement and customer service skills and experience, preferably within a fast paced and changing environment.
- A strong collaborator who can work well within a team.
- Customer focused individual, who keeps our customer at the heart of everything that we deliver on.
- Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office.
- Drivers Licence.
**What would be your key responsibilities?**
- Support on all maintenance related activity, including reactive and proactive requests.
- Ensures the PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedule is followed and supported to achieve 100% compliance.
- Contractor/supplier management - ensure the schedule is followed showing active suppliers and compliance checks undertaken.
- Undertakes site walk rounds for our main offices, with issues actioned and completed.
- Ensures cover is in place for workplace support, mail and reception.
- Ad hoc work as directed by the Workplace & Facilities Manager.
