Hse Advisor

**About the Role** UGL is seeking a qualified HSE Advisor to oversee health, safety, and environmental aspects, for our division specialising in asset integrity, preservation & decommissioning. Based in Canning Vale this role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of works, adhering to safety regulations, and meeting quality standards and timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Safety Leadership**: Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all activities comply with industry safety standards and company policies.

**HSE Compliance**: Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and client expectations.

**Risk Management**: Identify potential hazards and implement effective measures to mitigate risks.

**Training and Development**: Conduct safety training sessions and ensure team members are informed about HSE protocols.

**Incident Investigation**: Lead investigations of any safety incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions.

**Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with other supervisors and project managers to ensure a cohesive approach to HSE management.

**Continuous Improvement**: Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance HSE performance.

**About You**
- You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills, and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally, you will have:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE advisory roles.
- Proficient knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven track record of successfully managing HSE teams and initiatives.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in HSE-related disciplines.
