About the Role
We are looking to hire casual Disability Support Workers for our clients residing in the Western Suburbs. This position will require you to ensure our clients are able to thrive independently and are given choice and control in their daily living activities. The exact assistance you will be required to provide will differ on the support needs of each client, however, we will require your flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster. This includes active nights, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with daily personal care such as bathing, shaving and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance by lifting, transferring and hoisting clients
- Follow person-centred active support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
- Help clients reach their goals through meaningful activities of their choice
- Track and document the changing needs of clients through thorough record-keeping
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families and your team
- Advocate for client choice and control in a way that is safe and compliant
- Provide Companionship
Skills & Experience
- A Victorian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
- Committed to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays
- Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
- A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
- Experience working as a Disability Support Worker.
- RELIABLE

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
**Salary**: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
