**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced **Supervisor Apprenticeship Programs **to lead our successful trade development programs in this high impact role**.** Primarily based at our Kwinana Workshop, with regular site visits, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of our workforce.

Reporting to the **Superintendent Learning and Development** the **Supervisor Apprentice Programs** will be responsible for overseeing all MinRes apprenticeship programs, including our established 'new to industry' and trade development programs, as well as working with stakeholders to develop and deliver new initiatives. This role is responsible for leading a small team of apprentice mentors to deliver quality programs, with high completion and retention rates, that support MinRes now and into the future.

**Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)**:

- Leading a small team of apprentice mentors, including planning and scheduling of resources, team management and providing support to ensure consistent delivery across the program and operations
- Provide coaching and mentoring support to 1st and 2nd year apprentices at our Kwinana Workshop
- Provide technical advice and support to your team regarding apprentice training requirements
- Establishing effective relationships with relevant Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
- Develop and facilitate comprehensive program onboarding, ensuring new Apprentices are set up for success and well-versed in workplace policies, safety measures, and performance expectations
- Organise developmental workshops and forums to support holistic growth
- Develop and implement supporting tools and initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of apprentices
- Monitor apprentice progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and support
- Provide guidance to operational leaders to ensure apprentices receive comprehensive and well-rounded training experiences
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the apprentice program

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Minimum 2+ years experience coordinating Apprenticeship Programs
- Experience leading a successful team
- Strong understanding of VET pathways and industry standards
- Demonstrated ability in evaluating, reporting, and consulting leadership on performance metrics
- Previous mining experience
- Trade background will be highly desirable
