**About Arete Health Care**:
Arete Health Care operates two Residential Aged Care Facilities in South West Sydney, Lansdowne Aged Care located in Cabramatta and Hixson Gardens Aged Care located in Bankstown.

Both our homes provides either permanent or respite care as per the resident’s requirements. Caring staff provide the best in professional holistic support, delivering comprehensive clinical care & services focused on helping the aged with specialised nursing, palliative and dementia care.

**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced Facility & Hospitality Services Manager to manage and support our operations across two Residential Aged Care Facilities, Lansdowne Aged Care located in Cabramatta and Hixson Gardens Aged Care located in Bankstown.

Duties may include:

- Oversee the delivery of high-quality property and building maintenance services to ensure a safe, well-presented, and compliant environment across both sites.
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring meals meet nutritional standards, dietary needs, and resident preferences in consultation with dietitians and care teams.
- Lead and monitor laundry operations to maintain high standards of hygiene, efficiency, and resident satisfaction.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to the Accommodation Services team across both sites, including maintenance, kitchen, and laundry staff.
- Coordinate contractor and supplier relationships, ensuring services meet compliance, cost-effectiveness, and quality expectations.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and maintenance checks to identify and rectify issues promptly, ensuring compliance with aged care regulations and WHS standards.
- Manage service-related budgets, including monitoring expenditures, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Support regulatory and accreditation requirements by maintaining up-to-date documentation, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance records across service areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery, implement improvements, and respond proactively to feedback and complaints.

**Essential**:

- Extensive expertise in maintenance operations and issue resolution
- Proven high-level problem-solving capabilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and supervise teams to achieve set objectives
- Solid knowledge of people management and contemporary Human Resources practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the flexibility to manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to meet goals within established timeframes
- Practical experience in managing aged care environments
- Proficient in documentation and well-versed in Government Accreditation standards and requirements
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

**Recommended**:

- Additional qualifications in management would be desirable
- Practical knowledge of accreditation and quality management
- Desirable - Fluent in Vietnamese

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cabramatta NSW 2166: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
