Operating & Maintenance Support Specialist

This role reports to our Support System Lead, and is responsible for the development and establishment of Operating Support (including a Vehicle Information Management System) and Maintenance Support services during an Acquisition Contract phase. A key aspect of this role is being responsible for development of CDRLs, plans and procedures, coordination with Rheinmetall entities and suppliers, working solutions with the Commonwealth, and establishing required resources on a national scale.

As the **Operating & Maintenance Support Specialist**, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Assist the Support System Lead to develop and manage project plans and schedules to be shared with the internal team and the Commonwealth;
- Lead the development and implementation of the required capabilities to meet both Acquisition Contract and Support Contract requirements, ensuring all procedural, physical and human resources are scoped, planned, and implemented;
- Liaise with and advise the ILS team on Operating and Maintenance concepts, and requirements to be supported by the support resources being provided under the Acquisition Contract;
- Assist the Phase In Manager to monitor and report the Phase In activities relate to the Operating Support (including Vehicle Information Management System) and Maintenance Support capabilities;
- Assist the Phase In Manager to identify, track and manage Phase In issues and risks related to Operating Support (including Vehicle Information Management System) and Maintenance Support activities;
- Manage and coordinate the interface between RDA stakeholders, Rheinmetall entities, suppliers and Commonwealth stakeholders in regards to the development and establishment of Operating Support and Maintenance Support related activities;
- Liaise with the Commonwealth and other stakeholders as required;
- Present to stakeholders on progress, as well as challenges and remediation plans when necessary;
- Provide leadership in the development of Operating Support (including Vehicle Information Management System) and Maintenance Support related plans, procedures and any related Information Systems; and
- Lead the delivery of Support Service evaluations and Interim Support Services.

**About your new team**
- The team is located in offices in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The team is responsible for the development and delivery of contracted plans, reviews and deliverables, and associated performance, issues and risk management.

- Suitable tertiary qualification, or equivalent technical trade qualifications and experience;
- Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings and to assimilate complex instructions easily;
- Ability to analyse issues and use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and approaches to problems;
- High level of self-motivation and ability to multi-task; balancing "analysis" with "doing".
- Ability to travel international and interstate, when required;
- Proficient in MS Office (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
