An exciting opportunity exists for an Agency Manager to join our team at The ART L-NE.

Focused on creation and collaboration, The ART L-NE is a Melbourne based Studio delivering contemporary, world class work for partners, while helping creatives forge sustainable practices.

As a main point of contact, the Agency Manager is responsible for all agency activity, including the management of our valued artists, clients, staff, project teams, and our overall business operations; strategy, performance, process and project management.

This position, which involves a wide range of opportunity & responsibility, is a lead role within the day to day of The ART L-NE's business & growth strategy.

—Key Responsibilities

Artist Management
- Working closely with the company Director, to maintain exceptional strategy & execution of the career management of our multidisciplinary roster of artists
- The day to day management of our roster of Artists, including enquiries, portfolio requests and contract negotiation
- Managing and maintaining existing clients and the growth of new relationships
- Alongside the Artist, the development of project proposals & treatments
- Alongside the Artist, management of the day to day project production &/or operations
- PR & Media for the Artist; strategy, development & execution
- Work with the Artist to continue to drive & support artistic growth & help curate & develop artist brand & brand strategy
- Project & timeline management
- Bookings scheduling and management

Agency Management
- Business development and growth, presenting ideas & initiatives to further grow the business
- Report on monthly and annual revenue figures (Artist Management & Agency)
- Develop and execute a business & growth strategy, such as partnership opportunities and other potential business revenue streams
- New business pitches; approaching these with both a creative and commercial mindset
- Managing and maintaining existing clients and the growth of new relationships
- Assisting with business forecasting and planning
- Responsible for training and managing TAL employees

Agency Operations
- The management of all agency day to day operations
- The creation of engaging and exciting marketing strategies and targets
- The development and execution of strategic operational plans
- Initiating and being proactive in new ideas & concepts that will assist in achieving client objectives and new business opportunities
- Effective management of project teams
- Project, budget and timeline management
- Development of agency quotes & invoices

—Qualifications/Skills
- A passion for, and understanding of, Art & Design & our Community
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role, working across artist & agency/studio management
- Business development & negotiation
- Production experience, preferably in both stills and film
- Detail oriented, with strong experience in budgeting and billing
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Personable and approachable with a natural ability to develop strong relations
- Exceptional organisational and project planning skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise, to work effectively across a multitude of concurrent projects
- A calm demeanour and a positive attitude
- Must be efficient, flexible, and proactive
- Clear and effective communication skills, confident at liaising with people at all levels
