**Job Description**:
The office of the CIO (OCIO) helps the CIO to drive strategy and functional performance and serves as the CIO’s “right hand” in the management of the IT function. This function has the following priorities:

- Transform the IT function and operating model to be cost effective, simplified, and agile
- Drive IT capability development to assist in accelerating digital business and improvements
- Steward a balanced IT investment portfolio that delivers operational excellence and business growth in line with organisational priorities.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in leading, running and setting the vision for an IT organisation.
- Experience in leading organisational transformation initiatives that includes designing and implementing operating models, engaging staff, and teams, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
- Ability to act as a facilitator across the IT Leadership Team (ITLT). This role will have Objectives and Key Result areas that focus on the overall efficiency of the IT team’s leadership process and on the overall satisfaction of individual leaders with regards to the executive decision-making process.
- Ability to build networks and relationships and work across the rest of the business to support the CIO and manage our digital transformation journey.
- Ability to grow relationships with stakeholders outside of IT to help influence the IT and digital strategies and ensure the delivery of value from our enterprise information and technology investments.
- Interpersonal skills that include a blend of soft persuasion, gentle arm-twisting, and great judgment about what can be resolved without the need for the CIO’s intervention.
- Professional communication skills and experience preparing and presenting strategies, plans and reports to a wide set of stakeholders from across a business landscape.
- Qualifications in the field of Engineering and/or Computer Science.
