**EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY ASSISTANT REQUIRED IN BRISBANE**

We are searching for an exceptional career focused FAMILY ASSISTANT, that can offer our lovely clients a high level of service and support surrounding their household and lifestyle management needs.

You would be someone who enjoys diversity within a position, and ideally have previous experience in a similar role or a yachting background and wanting to transition into a land based position.

Someone that really takes pride in their work and understands the need for 5 star standards and have an eye for detail, ensuring the care and comfort of the Principals needs and requirements are managed effectively on a daily basis.

The family are looking for someone that is wanting a long term position, and wants to really become part of their family unit as this role will grow and expand over time and the family are looking for someone who is also interested in learning and developing through extra responsibilities, training and progression. They are very supportive surrounding career development and learning, to ensure you have all the tools to succeed and continue to build on your already outstanding skills.

This role may not personally undertake all the duties listed below, but he/she is responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed which may involve the supervision and instruction of other staff, such as the cleaner, gardener and other sub contractors.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Presentation of the premises to the highest standard, internally and externally.
- Daily laundry/valet all clothes including washing, ironing, minor repairs, shoe cleaning
- Care and maintenance of glassware
- Shopping and stocking of food pantry, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Food and beverage setting and service
- Balanced meal preparation for family members and small functions
- Organisation and supervision of formal entertaining
- Attendance to house guests and visitors
- Management, co-ordination and supervision of all trades people and casual staff
- Vehicle presentation, registration and maintenance
- Chauffeuring family members
- Social diary management and travel arrangements
- Household administration and some financial management
- Babysitting and minding children.
- Running errands around Brisbane, Gold Coast and helping the parents prepare for family holidays i.e. packing cars, attending holiday homes and setting up, helping cleanup for holidays, etc.
- Working with Private Assistant of the Husband/Principal to coordinate and complete other tasks as required, such as managing other real estate and business situations.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ideally 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Positive, proactive, calm personality
- Organised, be forward-thinking and have high attention to detail
- Be a self-starter and show initiative to troubleshoot and solve problems but also be willing to work as part of a team
- Demonstrate maturity, calmness and confidence
- Great cooking skills
- Flexible, professional, honest, and trustworthy
- Police Check, WWCC (Blue Card) and a NDA required
- Respect and understand the need to be discreet, uphold confidentiality at all times

**JOB CONDITIONS**:

- $90,000 + Super
- 10 Days Sick Leave
- 4 Weeks Holiday
- All National Employment Standards apply
