A top 10 company on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), Woolworths Group employs more than 180,000 team members and serves more than 20 million customers a week. **Fresh Operations Manager - ** The **Metro - Fresh Operations Manager **supports the Metro Commercial team by acting as the link between the Commercial team and the Store Operations team to execute fresh category plans and strategies that deliver sales, profit, market share targets and customer outcomes in store. Another key function is to ensure the quality and supply of produce is aligned to being fresh, seasonal and Australian grown. **What we're looking for**: - Comprehensive Retail Executional Capability in Fresh Foods with at least 5+ years experience - Demonstrated Visual Merchandising Experience in Fresh Foods - Ability to influence cross functional stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes - Strong financial acumen - Strong & Engaging Communication Ability - Self Driven and managed working interstate from main Commercial Team - Ability to coach, mentor and hold effective training sessions. - Computer literacy with proficiency in excel and Google apps advantageous **What am I accountable for**: - Effective influencing, communication and coaching store teams so as to deliver the Fresh category plans and sales Metro Fresh Operations Manager ( Vic/ACT) - budget - Sales, Profit and Customer Metrics vs budget - Effective execution of F&V Operations Model rollout to agreed timelines, effectively linking key stakeholders to support store operations - Team Training and Coaching of key fresh initiatives - Visual Merchandising Standards to maximise sales opportunities - Conduit between operations and buying team for store opening and refurbishment support - mplementation of store layouts and product flows in line with seasonal changes at stores - Liaise with metro Supply Chain Business Partner and DC operations to ensure timely distribution of produce to maintain stock on shelves, quality and freshness - Advise and provide product storage and handling best proactive methods - Provide input into Fresh category plans to ensure they are fit for purpose in stores **Where does my role fit and who do you work with?** Internal Stakeholders: - The Metro - Fresh Operations Manager works across both the Metro Buying Team and Store Operational Teams to implement - the Fresh Category Plans providing specialised coaching and executional direction to ensure that commercial initiatives land and - embed with Operations Teams effectively. - Key partnering roles are : Metro Category Managers, ACMs, Group Managers, Store Managers, Department Managers, and EA - store team members. - The Metro - Fresh Operations Manager works closely with but not limited to : Supermarket F&V Buying Team and FVOM team, - DC Team, Food Academy Team **Who you are** You’re driven by a customer mission and passionate about being part of a team of great people.
