**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for a commercially savvy and highly motivated Category Manager to join our high-performing team in Melbourne. Focused on a couple of key produce categories— which are both profitable and strategically important—this role plays a vital part in driving sales performance and managing major customer and supplier relationships.

This is a wide-ranging role that goes beyond traditional account management. You'll work across planning, procurement, pricing, forecasting, quality, and execution—bringing together growers, operations, and customers to deliver strong results.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Build and execute annual account and category plans to meet revenue and margin targets
- Lead seasonal planning, tenders, forecasting, pricing, and product allocation
- Manage key wholesale and retail customer accounts across multiple markets
- Work closely with growers and the procurement team to secure supply and drive quality
- Collaborate across operations, finance, and QC to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and reporting for your category

**What**You’ll bring:

- Around 5 years’ experience in fresh produce, with strong category or commercial exposure
- 3+ years in key account management—ideally with international or wholesale customers
- High level of commercial acumen, with strong financial literacy and P&L ownership
- Confidence working with data - forecasts, pricing, allocations, and performance reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management across internal teams, suppliers, and customers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Existing relationships with key customers in fresh produce markets would be advantageous
