Lilydale, Australia Work Solutions (Melb) Pty Ltd Full time

One of our clients, a local council within the Lilydale area, is looking for a Parks Maintenance Crew Member to join their passionate team.

This Job is a casual role, however, will be for 38 hours per week and could lead onto gaining a full-time contract.

Your shift will start at 7am and will end at 4pm.

Pay Rate: $33.65 Per Hour + Superannuation.

Starting: ASAP.

You will work as a self-managed member of the Parks and Bushlands team using a range of horticultural, parkland and maintenance skills to maintain the Council’s open space assets.

**You will Need**:
Experience with small and medium horticultural equipment.

Experience with herbicide use.

Trade Certificate (Level 3) in Horticultural equipment.

Previous demonstrated knowledge of vegetation management and maintenance and basic landscape and asset construction and maintenance.

Ability to select appropriate equipment and techniques employed in parks and garden maintenance and to operate, maintain and adjust plant and equipment correctly.

Ability to identify and quantify resources required to meet objectives including small landscape construction projects.

Ability to work in a team environment, cooperate and communicate with the team and others.

Understanding of OH&S principles.

Current Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.

**You will be**:
Inspecting, evaluating and recommended works and resources required.

Maintaining and using all plant and equipment according to OH&S principles

**Please Note** - a Police Check and Covid Vaccination status **will all need to be obtained upon placement.**
