Baker for a Cafe

**An experienced Baker is sought by one of Melbourne's well-established Bakeries and Cafés.**
We're in search of an individual with trade qualifications and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial bakery setting. This experience should encompass crafting a diverse range of products, including breads, rolls, pies, pastries, and speciality items.
Role Overview:
Responsibilities will include:
- Creating a wide variety of bread types, such as speciality breads, sourdough loaves, bagels, baguettes, English muffins, and ciabatta.
- Managing the entire baking process - kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, shaping, proofing, and achieving a top-tier finish in baking.
- Preparing an array of breads, rolls, and pastries aligned with the in-house menu.
- Expertise in baking pies, pasties, sausage rolls, and more.
- Skillful hand scaling and molding.
- Proficiently operating bakery machinery and equipment.
- Precisely measuring flour and other ingredients to craft dough.
- Overseeing stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring quality control.
- Upholding rigorous food safety standards.
