**Your Next Opportunity**:
As an HSE Advisor at Velocity Truck Centres, you will play a critical role in partnering with Operations Managers to continue building and enhancing the safety culture and managing incidents and injuries across our Western Australia and South Australia dealerships. At Velocity Truck Centres, we are on a journey to embed safe operations as a fundamental part of how we do business.

You will partner with our team across Service, Parts, Sales and Corporate in your area of responsibility to provide expert and tailored safety advice, to coach, and support Operations Teams in conducting risk assessments, implementing effective controls and interpreting data and trends into practical initiatives that reduce injuries and the risk of serious harm. Your expertise will be vital in promoting and sustaining a robust HSE climate, ensuring the health and wellbeing of all our team members.

Reporting directly to the Head of Safety, this role sits in the HR & HSE function and can be based at either our Daimler Trucks Perth or Adelaide Dealership with frequent travel to South Australia or Western Australia required.

**About The Role**:

- Influence and empower operational managers and employees with dynamic safety training and coaching, pinpointing opportunities for improvements in HSE outcomes
- Provide support for incident and injury management
- Ensure leaders understand and actively manage Preventative Safety Measures
- Collaborate with the National HSE Lead to build, refine and deliver impactful HSE initiatives
- Actively participate in monthly HSE meetings at assigned dealerships
- Keep HSE boards, systems, and the Intranet up to date with the latest information, procedures, SWPs, and relevant data
- Conduct thorough audits, ensure strict compliance, and deliver detailed reports within agreed timeframes
- Proactively escalate HSE concerns to Site Leaders and Leadership teams as needed

**About You**:

- Certificate IV in WHS
- Certificate IV in TAE (Desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in HSE coordination or advisory in a similar-size business
- In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment and Wellbeing legislation, regulations and best practices in the same or related industry
- Action-oriented, decisive, practical and credible safety practitioner
- Familiarity with a risk-based approach to safety
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to train, coach and influence across all levels
- Proficiency in utilising HSE management systems
- Flexibility to travel interstate regularly
