As a Part-Time Kitchen Steward, you will be an integral part of the operations of a busy commercial kitchen at a premier 5-star hotel. You are someone with proven experience in fast-paced commercial kitchen environments and a good understanding of the safety elements associated with this job. You also have a solid grasp of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling. You're flexible and available to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including days, afternoons, evenings, and overnight shifts. **Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Kitchen operations**: Be an integral part of the operations of busy commercial kitchens.
- ** Equipment operation**: Operate commercial dishwashers and other commercial kitchen equipment.
- ** Cleanliness and organization**: Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and benches, ensuring all rubbish is removed and equipment is correctly stored.
- ** Function preparation**: Prepare equipment required for functions (chafing dishes, plates, etc.).
- ** Chef support**: Assist the chefs with general kitchen duties.
- ** Compliance**: Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, and safe work practices at all times.

**What we're looking for**:

- ** Availability**: Flexible and available to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including days, afternoons, evening, and overnight shifts.
- ** Experience**: Proven experience in fast-paced commercial kitchen environments.
- ** Safety understanding**: Good understanding of the safety elements associated with this job.
- ** Chemical knowledge**: Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling.
