**Role Summary**:
The Compliance and Audit Officer is an exciting 12-month max-term opportunity in our Operational Insights and Governance team based at our Perth CBD Office.
The purpose of this role is to provide oversight and governance to our internal and strategic partners across the customer function in accordance with our compliance and audit obligations.
The compliance and audit officer provides a proactive service and supports activities to ensure staff knowledge levels are maintained, processes are efficient and effective and are fit for purpose for a modern retailer.
**Key responsibilities of the role include**:
- Collate, assess and monitor compliance incidents.
- Provide accurate and timely administrative support for compliance related issues.
- Contribute to data analysis, identify trends, and participate in investigations related to compliance matters.
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance and development of compliance related policies, processes, procedures and controls.
- Complete pre-audit activities to ensure that teams and departments are adopting best practice processes.
**What you’ll bring**:
- As a minimum you will have your High School Certificate and a Certificate II in Office Administration would be highly regarded.
- Previous experience working in an administration role, ideally in a highly regulated and compliance environment
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, consistently delivering accurate and error-free work to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Leverage keen analytical thinking to meticulously examine data, records, and processes, adeptly spotting anomalies and discrepancies while proactively questioning the status quo to ensure data accuracy and operational effectiveness
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, fostering clear and effective interaction with team members, and stakeholders.
