**About the Opportunity**
The People & Culture Business Partner will be a key member of the national People and Culture team, in this truly generalist role which covers all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Whilst there will initially be plenty of workforce planning and talent acquisition activity, including offshore sourcing, the People and Culture Business Partner will take the lead in partnering, advising and coaching our local business leaders in building strong cultures and driving people and culture initiatives. These include ensuring a positive employee experience, enhancing skills and capability, and creating career pathways.

This is a new role for our businesses in Newcastle and offers a great opportunity to make a real difference locally while contributing to national P&C strategies and plans.

**About You**
We are looking for someone who is;
- Strongly oriented around an internal customer centricity;
- Able to demonstrate experience in delivering exceptional human resources advice and support;
- Comfortable working autonomously;
- Happy to be ‘hands-on’ with a track record in delivering streamlined and value
- add and practical business solutions;
- A relationship-builder;
- Tertiary qualified in human resources or related areas.
