- A 12 month fixed term contract opportunity, play an integral role in AGL’s Portfolio Governance Team

As a Portfolio Analyst, you will be aligned to a portfolio stream for which you provide project reporting and analysis. Additionally, you will also provide budget and expenditure insights, portfolio risk and issues, supporting the investment case creation processes and project stage gating.

Supporting the efficient and effective running of the stream you will provide planning, reporting, coordination, and governance support, whilst producing PMO deliverables consistently on time and to a high quality.

What you’ll be doing:

- Ensure the ongoing hygiene and maintenance of the portfolio through sound practices, cadences and reporting including but not limited to KPI, Value, Cost, Milestone & Risks.
- Support the execution of the portfolio governance, reporting, framework review and Continuous improvement of portfolio reporting processes and practices, ensuring they are fit for purpose and are aligned to the best practice
- Prepare portfolio reports and presentations with appropriate insight to inform decision making, financial management
- Understand and support the delivery of Customer Markets Strategic objectives by ensuring great collaboration and relationships

What you’ll bring to the table:
To be successful as the Portfolio Analyst, you should have a proven ability in supporting successful portfolios / projects / programs and experience working with senior executives to ensure robust planning, progress reporting, and process governance.
- Experience in gathering, analysing, consolidating and preparing insights for senior stakeholders
- Practical (hands on) experience supporting project delivery, and governance, under various methodologies
- Experience in risk management and or accreditation would be highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience with financial practices and reporting, plus metrics and traceability
- Exceptional & advanced capability with the Microsoft Office suite
- SAP system experience
- Practical experience with SharePoint and PPM Tools
