Our client, who is one of Australia's largest manufactures and suppliers to underground coal and metalliferous mines is seeking an experienced Customer Service/ Sales Officer to join their friendly and busy team.

Our client, who is one of Australia's largest manufactures and suppliers to underground coal and metalliferous mines is seeking an experienced Customer Service/ Sales Officer to join their friendly and busy team.

**Working hours: 8:00am - 4:00PM Monday - Friday**

**Location: Kewdale**

**Start Date: ASAP**

**Duration: 6 months with potential to go permanent**

**Pay rate: $34 p/h + super**

**The Role**

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

- Ability to build excellent relationships with key stakeholders and become the 'go to' person for the client
- Providing superb levels of administration support i.e. answering queries, taking orders and processing high volume or orders, resolving simple complaints, processing credit requests
- Generating and renewing sales by providing quotes, lead times, price guidelines, delivery dates to stakeholders
- Providing customers with feedback and insights into new products and shipments

**Role Requirements**
- Previous experience in sales environment, preferably in industrial or manufacturing products
- Excellent time management skills with ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Passion for customer service and sales
- Friendly, approachable personality
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
- Highly developed attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pick up and learn new systems quickly
- Microsoft suite working knowledge
