This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance professional to work within a rewarding role in Aged Care for our facility in Caves Beach.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Area Maintenance Supervisor, an exciting opportunity has risen for a **Maintenance Officer** role at our Retirement Aged Care facility in Caves Beach.
- You will be responsible in providing basic general maintenance repairs (electrical & plumbing, carpentry and building)
- You will also be providing gardening maintenance tasks (sweeping, hosing, keeping the outside of buildings clean and tidy, mowing lawns, hedging and general garden maintenance)
- Will communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families, being empathetic and understanding of the needs of aged residents- A current NSW Driver License
- Sensitive to the needs of the elderly in a residential care setting
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic computer skill
- Understanding of workplace safety
- Experience as a Maintenance Person in Aged Care or similar industry is desirable
