Regional Operations Manager

Commercial Asset Maintenance is a privately owned company located in Coolum on the Sunshine Coast. It is a Commercial Property Maintenance company, specialising in Cleaning, Grounds Maintenance and Building Maintenance and servicing medium to large businesses on the Australian Eastern Seaboard.

**About the role**

This role will be based across SE QLD. You will spend time on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast and the wider region.

We are in search of an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team, that has a background in Contractor & Project Management.

The primary objective of this role is to provide support to the operations and business development manager, our current clients and site supervisors and cleaning teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service in line with our commitment to excellence.

You will be 40% hands on and 60% leadership/training, and account management to start with a view of completely running Operations within 6 Months to become disenfranchised from a “hands on” approach.

On occasion, hours of work may include some weekends, public holidays, early mornings or nights.

**Key responsibilities**
- Maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders (clients & trades)
- Managing and Organising jobs
- Quoting and Pricing
- Rostering, onboarding, training & identifying gaps in staff performance
- Ensure client contractual obligations are met with training, inspections, audits, test-n-tag
- Manage stock & consumables for all sites
- Report all issues relating to standard, service capability, site changes, additional works, HR issues
- Provide safety training and implementation
- Conduct quarterly Quality Assurance audits of all sites
- Support BDM with account start-ups, transfers & issues
- Provide reports according to Operations systems on quality, safety, site activity
- Attend client & BDM Manager meetings
- Some Business Development related work

- Commercial management experience in maintenance & cleaning Industry
- Local to the region with strong network relations
- Tech savvy
- Energetic & willing to be hands-on
- Sound understanding of workplace health & safety
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft suite
- Outstanding customer service, interpersonal and administration skills
- Hungry for growth
- A network of clients and contacts would be highly regarded

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
