Job location
Our Corporate Office is located at Thomas Embling Hospital just 15 minutes north of the city. Due to our announced expansion across all Directorates, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team to support our growing services. Our Directorates includes Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Operations and our Community Directorate with highly skilled disciplines including Nursing, Lived Experience, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychologists and Social Work. We have an outstanding L&D and discipline Educator co-hort that continually upskill our already skilled and supportive team.
**About the Role**:
The Business Support Team Leader manages the Executive Support and Business Support teams. This fast-paced role is critical to the organisation as it ensures provisions of a cohesive support function and individual approach to delivery of these services.
**Duties**:

- Leading an engaged, motivated and high performing team.
- Ensuring the team meets defined KPIs.
- Effectively managing resources and being responsible for recruitment to vacant positions.
- Acting as a point of escalation for complex or challenging requests.
- Providing leadership and mentoring.
- Identifying opportunities to improve or streamline support processes.

**About You**:

- Proven experience managing staff in a demanding and changing environment.
- Motivated self-starter with a positive and collaborative approach who can work under limited direction and capable of setting own work priorities.
- Outcomes focussed with strong time management skills.
- Highly organised problem-solver with ability to multi-task, take initiative with meticulous attention to detail.
- Possess an agile mindset to be able to adapt, and be flexible, in response to dynamic business needs and challenges.
- Ability to identify, anticipate and communicate any insights or issues preventing business and executive support success.
