**The Role**
Are you a strategic HR professional interested in making a contribution that will have a significant positive impact for Defence Finance Group (DFG) employees? The DFG Capability Development Team is looking for a highly motivated individual at the EL 1 level to join our growing team.
You will join the DFG Capability Development team at a unique and exciting period of workforce management and culture transformation, working closely with DFG’s senior leaders to understand capability gaps, design contemporary solutions and drive change to attract, retain and develop a high-performing workforce.
In addition to supporting the development, delivery and management of strategic talent management initiatives, you will also be responsible for:
- Supporting the strategic direction of the Capability Development Team including the management and delivery of key initiatives such as our Employee Value Proposition, Culture Blueprint, and Professional Development program;
- Evaluating programs and initiatives to measure their success, as well as identifying and providing recommendations for future improvement in implementation;
- Identifying capability gaps and developing contemporary strategies to attract, recruit and engage high-performing talent;
- Preparing reports, briefing materials, frameworks and strategic documents for a variety of audiences, including senior leadership committees.
**About our Team**
The DFG Capability Development Team is responsible for delivering strategic talent management, professionalisation and leadership initiatives as directed by the DFG Senior Leadership Group. Our Directorate partners with stakeholders within the group to understand capability gaps, design contemporary solutions and drive change to enable our high-performing workforce.
The team has been driving an exciting program of work over the past 3 years in areas that relate to the implementation of DFG’s Employee Value Propositions initiatives, culture transformation and workforce analytics.
In addition to continuing to deliver this program of work, we are now at a critical stage of evaluation, which will be used to shape what future iterations of our program of work will look like. Our team role-models high standards of behaviour in all our interactions and demonstrates leadership through undertaking purposeful work.
- Have demonstrated experience in Human Resources Strategy.
