Looking for a role that offers endless variety and challenge? Want to join a global well known business? Then this is the role for you An exciting opportunity has become available for a Transport Manager to join our Omnichannel Logistics team located in Eastern Creek.

Reporting to the Omnichannel Logistics Manager, this position will ensure continuous improvement of the final mile delivery experience for Amway distributors and customers and ensuring Amway remains competitive in our delivery and product returns offering.

**Key responsibilities include, not limited to**:

- Management of national home delivery network, processes and customer service levels.
- Management of national interstate line haul services ex Sydney including local shipping services.
- Monitor current freight contractor performance and evaluate prospective vendors on cost and service offering
- Invoice validation and preparation/authorization of cheque requisitions for transport/delivery payments weekly and facility services on an ongoing basis.
- Direct customer liaison and/or resolution of call centre delivery issues escalation.
- Establish contract freight arrangements and undertake regular rate negotiations.
- Costs/freight volume analysis, budget forecasting and control of logistics cost/unit.
- Manage returns processes via delivery network.
- Minimise delivery discrepancies, stock losses and damages in support of DIFOT targets.

**Experience and Skills required**:

- Experience in managing home delivery transport operations in Australia
- 5 years transport management experience on a medium to large site
- Understanding of contemporary management practice and principles.
- Ability to prepare reports/ submissions.
- Understanding of financial and budgetary practices.
- Understanding of Risk Management principles and practices.
- Computer literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong technical and problem solving skills
