**The Opportunity**:
An opportunity is available within the Global Sourcing Department for a Sourcing Specialist. Reporting to the Global Category Lead MRO you will will source and contract for all capital projects and the associated goods and services. You will have the support from the Global Sourcing team.

**The Role**:

- Manage the sourcing and supplier selection process, including creating a sourcing project, researching and developing supplier shortlist, assembling and managing Request For Information (RFI) project team through RFX/RFI process.
- Plan, coordinate sourcing related activities (RFI/RFP, Auctions) in Ariba eSourcing
- Manage the sourcing and supplier selection process
- Track their assigned categories of spend to ensure saving targets are met
- Help improve contract negotiation and management, including drafting agreements according to standard or non-standard services together with contract team; review counter changes from counter party and approving or rejecting with input from Legal; and secure approval from appropriate signatories before validating and publishing
- Update, verifies and publishes contract content in the Contract Management Systems (CMS) and serves as a source of knowledge regarding company contracts policy, templates, and procedures
- Communicate project requirements to potential vendors, and coordinate with them regarding project follow-up, timelines, troubleshooting, communication of terms & agreements, standards and testing requirements
- Manage the long-term relationships with selected key strategic suppliers to form deep, mutually benefitting partner relationships and understanding
- Facilitate communication among suppliers to ensure relationships are delivering their ongoing and intended (optimal) value; supplier diversity

**Your skills and experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, supply management, or related field
- 3 plus years of supply management or Sourcing experience, with demonstrated leadership
- R&D capital souring experience.
- Experience in capital and maintenance Sourcing
- Purchasing Management Certification (ISM)
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex supply agreements
